Toronto Public Library Workers Union

Thank you to all the Torontonian public library lovers who came to visit the Toronto Public Library Workers booth at WOTS 2018.  It was wonderful chatting with you, listening to your thoughts on the direction of library services, and sharing our love for our public library.  Our public library supporters are truly library warriors!  A huge thank you to Canadian author Andrew Larsen who signed his book, "The Man Who Loved Libraries" - a massive hit - with long linueps of readers waiting to get their copy.  Thank you again to all the library workers who volunteered their time at the booth.  Our book bags are always popular - Daniel Rotsztain's "All the Libraries" book bag was once again a hot item in demand. The lawns at Queen's Quay were filled with kids playing with our public library frisbees and flying our "No to Staffless Libraries" flags.  Watch for our "I am a Library Warrior" bookmarks.  Another successful event!  See you next year.
